Had a meal here for the first time yesterday. Lovely olde world pub . Low beams, stone floors , candlelit tables etc but wont be going back to eat there again. I ordered steak pudding with vegetables. The pudding was all pud and little else. Had to search hard in the dark to find any meat content.Vegetables were bland and over cooked. Expected better for almost ten pounds. Dessert cost £4.75 for a small FROZEN wedge of chocolate gateau which was solid and could only have been cut on a bandsaw!
